📚 What T0 and T1 Mean in Mobile Games

You will see players call a character T0 or T1 constantly in mobile game discussions. The T stands for tier, and the number is the band: T0 is the very top, T1 is just below it. This guide explains the numbering, how it maps to the S/A/B letters, and how much weight to give it.

The numbering explained

Tiers were originally numbered from T1 downward, with T1 meaning the best. As power levels rose, communities needed a band above the old top, so T0 was invented for characters that stand clearly apart from everything else. Today T0 means outlier-strong, T1 means top-tier and fully competitive, T2 means solid and dependable, and T3 or lower means situational or outdated.

How T0 maps to S tier

The two systems say the same thing in different notation. T0 lines up with SS or S+, T1 with S, T2 with A, and T3 with B. Neither scale is standardised, so one creator's T1 can be another's S tier and a third person's A tier. Read the chart's own legend rather than assuming the labels carry the same meaning across sources.

Why the label matters less than you think

A T0 label is a snapshot of one version, one game mode and one author's testing. Balance patches, new content types and fresh releases reshuffle the order constantly, and a character labelled T0 for a raid boss may be mediocre in arena. Investment level matters more than the label: a well-built T2 unit with the right gear routinely outperforms a neglected T0.

Preguntas frecuentes

Is T0 higher than T1?

Yes. T0 was added above the original T1 top band, so it marks characters considered a clear step above everything else in the current version.

Do I need a T0 character to progress?

No. Story and event content in most mobile games is tuned so that mid-tier and free characters can clear it with proper investment and team building.
