Open the game, tap your avatar or the settings gear, and look for an entry called Redeem Code, Gift Code or Exchange. Paste the code into the field and confirm. Some games hide the option until you reach a minimum level, and a few place it inside the in-game mailbox or an events tab instead. If you cannot find it anywhere, the game most likely uses a web redemption page instead of an in-game one.

Web redemption asks for your player ID or UID, your server or region, and sometimes your character name — all of which you can find on your in-game profile screen. Enter them exactly, paste the code, and submit. Only ever do this on the publisher own domain: a legitimate redemption page needs your ID, never your password, and never a verification code sent to your phone.
