Threes is the elegant merge puzzle that inspired 2048. You slide tiles, but a 1 and a 2 combine into a 3, and from then on only equal tiles merge (3+3=6, 6+6=12...). Every swipe pushes one row or column and adds a new tile at the edge.

🎯 Tips & Strategy

Remember 1 and 2 only merge with each other; pair them off promptly so they don't clutter the board.
Keep your biggest tile in a corner and build a descending chain toward it, like in 2048.
Don't swipe in a direction that only shuffles tiles without merging — every move spawns a new tile.
Watch the incoming-tile hint at the top to plan which edge the new tile will appear on.
Move slowly: Threes punishes careless swipes far more than 2048 because high tiles are much harder to build.

What's the highest tile in Threes?

Tiles double from 3 upward (3, 6, 12, 24...). The theoretical max is 6144, but reaching even 768 or 1536 is a strong score.

Why do I keep filling up the board?
